This type of measurement requires physical contact of the detector with the egg. Today vision-based technology has become the industry standard used in automated grading centers in the detection systems. The systems are responsible for the recognition of egg color, level of dirt or damaged eggs. The cameras capture each egg and determine the quality. This vision-based detection method does not require physical contact with the egg. This results in less wear & tear and reduced risk of cross-contamination during the grading process.
